A complete transformation of this hotel was completed in November of 2016. Every room was completely remodeled with coral tiles, new fixtures, window treatments, sinks, toilets and beds; no expense was spared!

Our newest addition is the La Bougainvillea restaurant and bar, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and the finest of wines and spirits and specialty cocktails. We have also transformed our interior to allow for indoor dining with unfettered views of the Atlantic. And outdoors, right alongside the pool is the restaurant, bar & grill with intricately decked-cabanas for those wishing to enjoy the warm sunshine, balmy breezes or a romantic candle-lit evening dining under the stars.

The hotel sits on 1200 feet of pristine private pink-sand beach. Awake to incredibly brilliant sunrises and fall asleep to the relaxing sounds of the waves all while looking out at the crystal blue Atlantic Ocean. Surround yourself in first class comfort. Come relax in the pool or stroll down to take a dip in the ocean on our wide pink sand beach. Snorkeling is steps off the beach where coral reefs abound! Enjoy an afternoon of watching tropical fish play on the reefs, rest on the spacious patio overlooking the beach, or unwind in the hammock.

Other amenities include infinity pool, AC, high-speed internet, ceiling fans, safe, beach chairs, outdoor showers, and private pink sand beach. Every room has a mini-fridge.

The La Bougainvillea hotel comes with daily housekeeping. Car rental is recommended and can be reserved in advance. Spa services, office needs, tours, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle-board guide and lessons can be provided. And for groups booking the entire hotel for private events, entertainers and musicians or other types of services can also be arranged upon request. All of these amenities are subject to additional costs and availability.

La Bougainvillea is located on the Banks Road of Governors Harbour, the premier location on Eleuthera. The town of Governors Harbour (the main town on the island) is less five minutes away by car.
